How Exporter is licensed?
Exporter license is based on the user Lotus Notes name. There are four different types of the license:
- An Individual license
- This license is suitable for the personal use and is granted for one person. It can not be transferred to another person but it can be transferred to another organization. For instance - one who bought the license has changed the company. The company uses the Lotus Notes and he wants to benefit from the Exporter.
- An Organizational Unit license
- This license is granted to a department or a group of people working in the same organization who share the same OU (organizational unit) Lotus Notes address part.
- An Organization license
- Organization license include the same benefits of the previous license and allows installing and using Exporter on the server environment (Windows Server).
- A Country license
- This license has no limitations - within one organization any number of people or servers can use Exporter! For the companies which have no Country or Organization part in the Lotus Notes address, this license is given to the lowest appropriate address.
To find out the Lotus Notes name – download and run Exporter. The first bit of information which will be printed in the status window will contain your Lotus Notes name. Alternatively – go ‘About’ – your name will be shown in the ‘executed by..’ line.
