This is a tricky question. Everything depends on the way the database is designed. So, you have to verify what are the views available in the database by simply opening and exploring it.
If you do not identify the desirable view or folder you may decide to create one yourself (of course if your permissions let you doing so) and copy the documents you need to export in this view.
Or you may do the total export for the whole database. With Exporter for Lotus Notes you can export any number of the messages into a single file with up to 10 Megabytes of information!
